What should I wear?

Long dresses and suits with ties are appropriate.

Will we be inside or outside for the wedding?

Weather permitting, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will take place outside on the Sky Terrace on the 9th floor of the Epicurean Hotel. In the case of unfortunate weather (knock on wood), we will move into the ballroom, also on the 9th floor.

What is the weather going to be like?

The month of May in Atlanta tends to be in the high 70s-low 80s during the day, then drop into the mid-high 60s when the sun goes down. That being said, Atlanta weather can be unpredictable, so feel free to pack for all seasons.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

We ask everyone to arrive at 3:30pm– half an hour before our ceremony begins– so that everyone has time to find a seat and settle in. Please help us keep the evening on schedule (so that the Maid of Honor does not rupture an aneurysm).

Is there parking at the venue?

There is valet parking at the hotel.

Will this wedding have religious or cultural elements that I should be aware of?

Yes! This wedding will be combining select Taiwanese and Jewish traditions. Some of the Jewish elements include: kippahs, breaking of the glass, the ketubah, and the chuppah. Some Taiwanese elements include: door games and a tea ceremony.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

If you would like to give a gift, we will have a registry link soon. In keeping with Taiwanese tradition, if you choose to bring a monetary gift, this is often placed in a red envelope.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We kindly ask that you not take photos or videos during the ceremony. There will be a photographer and videographer present to capture the day, so there is no need. Feel free to take as many pictures as you want during the reception!
